The founder of Yves Posher Cosmetic Empire Died.

Yves Rocher, the founder of well-known Cosmetics Empire died on Saturday in Paris. He was 79. The cause of death is not known yet.


The president of France has offered condolences in connection with the death. French President Nicolas Sarkozy called Rocher “a great French industrialist, inventor of plant-based cosmetics and pioneer of mail order retail.”


Rocher founded his company in 1959. His main development idea was “beauty from plants”. The company bills itself “the world leader in botanical beauty care” on its official website.


Today every third Frenchwoman uses Yves Rocher production and the trade mark has become famous all over the world. The group has more than 40 million purchasers and market brands that include Yves Rocher, Daniel Jouvance, Dr Pierre Ricaud, Isabel Derroisne, Kiotis and Galerie Noemie, Petit Bateau children’s wear.


It has been announced officially that his 31-year-old grandson Bris Rocher will take over the Global Cosmetics Empire.
