These days Vivienne Westwood, the queen of British fashion has announced that she works over new jeans collection for her Anglomania line. Most scandalous designer of Foggy Albion is designing the collection along with Lee Jeans for autumn/winter 2010-2011. The collection comprised of four styles for men and five for women will be shown to the public next summer.
“It is very important for us to work with a denim brand like Lee with such a strong heritage,” Carlo D’Amario, Managing Director of Vivienne Westwood says. “When you marry this with the creativity of Vivienne Westwood, you are able to create a truly original product which offers great value for money.”
The colour palette from madam Westwood will surprise with the range of bright over-dyed denim in electric blue, red, emerald green, camel and white, metallic printed gold and copper denim. Vintage style, abundance of hand-embroidery and lace are the main features of her style jeans.
The price for jeans from new collection which will be sold in Vivienne Westwood stores and selected retailers next year is already known. The most expensive model is estimated at 200 pounds.
Today, Westwood’s global empire comprises the semi-couture line Gold Label, a ready-to-wear line Red Label, Vivienne Westwood Man and the diffusion line Anglomania. She has perfumes – Boudoir and Libertine, as well as successful ranges of accessories and knitwear.
